We can spend it
But we cannot buy it
We don’t want it when we have it
And we don’t have it when we want it
It flies without wings
It has no end and no beginning
And we waste time on useless things
We try to be cool, to be rich, to be pretty
But none of that matters
In the end, is it important?
Shall we bury you with your money?
Write, “was very cool” on your tombstone?
How pretty will you be in your grave?
No one will remember that
They will remember the things you did
The differences you made
Then make a difference!
The clock is ticking.
